The short version

Your catch log lives on your device. Photos you submit for identification are sent to our AI provider to name the species and are not used to train models. We don't sell data, run ad trackers, or ask for accounts.

What we process

• Catch data (species, weight, length, notes, optional GPS position): stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
• Photos: when you use AI identification, the photo is transmitted to our identification provider (Anthropic) solely to determine the species, then handled per their API data policy. Photos you attach to catches are stored only on your device.
• Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe; entitlements are managed by RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier. We never see your card details.
• Location: only if you tap "Use current location", only to tag that catch, stored only on your device.

What we don't do

• No advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no data brokers.
• No account required; the community leaderboard runs on anonymous ids.

Your choices

Export your log as CSV anytime from Profile. Delete any catch, or delete the app to remove everything local. For subscription management use App Store / Play Store settings, or the Stripe receipt email for web purchases.
